Argentine Tango II
Linda Morales Caballero

Obra de arte Miguel Betancourt
With petulant
audacity,
and a boastful rage to
live
transposed as in a
dream
piano, bandoneón and
violin.
With the insulting
defiance
of a puppet brought to
life,
chiropteran brilliance
exuding from an oil
lamp,
a tight, sensual step
extends and recoils
in an brisk move
revealing a thigh;
scent of a woman
seeking
virile warmth,
defiance to death,
sex, music,
the tragic chimera of
feeling.
